Al-Anon/Alateen has Information Service phone numbers throughout Northern Illinois. Their purpose is to provide information about meeting location and time, and to enable contact with an Al-Anon member.

- There are generally two types of Information Services
- Answering services that provide information about meeting location and time, and if desired, will also give your phone number to an Al-Anon member who will return your call
- Voice mail where you leave your phone number along with a message, and you get a return call from an Al-Anon member.
